This service can be provided individually or in groups and aims to help our clients and their caregivers understand the nature of their mental illness and their medications. This program also helps them learn about the possible side effects of the medicines they are taking. Medication education is not similar to medication management. However, it is still beneficial when it comes to the latter because knowing what their medications are about can motivate them to take their medications as directed by their doctors and encourage their caregivers to help them remember the dosages and intake schedules.
